Catkin's terms of service
TOS are written in accordance with customer protection law (ZVPot), Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1) The EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1).
Timotej Lovrečič s.p., (Srednjevaška 41b, 1291 Škofljica, matična številka: 6645038000, davčna številka: 18900658) manages an online store (hereinafter referred to as an "online store").
The General Terms and Conditions determine the operation of the online store, the rights and obligations of the user and the online store and regulate the business relationship between the online store and the customer.
The buyer is bound by the general terms and conditions in time of purchase (online order submission). At the time of placing the order, the user is reminded of the general terms and conditions and confirms his / her familiarity with them.
Access to information
Catkin agrees to provide the buyer with the following information before being bound by the contract or offer:
company's info (Timotej Lovrečič s.p., Srednjevaška 41b, 1291 Škofljica),
contact information that enables the user to communicate quickly and effectively (email@example.com, FB: Mačica, IG: macicastore),
the essential characteristics of the product (product description),
product availability (stock by product),
conditions of delivery of items (in person, by mail),
prices, which must be clearly and unambiguously stated (at the product, all prices are in euros, dollars, pounds and ),
the method of payment and delivery or fulfillment,
the validity of the offer,
term within which it is possible to withdraw from the contract and conditions for withdrawal (description of the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 43h ZVPot; in cases where the buyer is not explicitly entitled to withdrawal in accordance with Article 43h ZVPot),
an explanation of the complaint procedure.
Due to the nature of the business, the offer of the Catkin online store on the website www.trgovina-macica.si is changing.
Product prices are in Euros (€).
The purchase contract between Catkin and the buyer is concluded in the online store at the moment when the online store sends the first email to the buyer about the status of his order. From that moment on, all prices and other terms and conditions are fixed and apply to both Catkin and Buyer.
The online store offers the following payment methods:
- cash or card if the Customer picks up their package at physical store,
- payment cards,
- - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.
Catkin also encloses an invoice when delivering the ordered items to the buyer. The invoice contains a breakdown of the price and all costs associated with the purchase. Subsequent complaints are not accepted.
The prices for individual items are valid at the time of placing the order, and before and after the prices may change.
Prices are valid at the time of purchase and are not pre-determined.
PURCHASE NOTIFICATION PROCEDURE
1. Your online store order
After placing the order, the buyer receives an email notification that the order has been accepted. Catkin checks the order, checks the availability of the ordered items and confirms the order or rejects the order.
2. Order sent / Order ready for pick up
The online store prepares and dispatches or prepares for personal pickup within the agreed deadline and informs the buyer via e-mail.
If the buyer decide to cancel the order in due time, he must immediately inform the seller at firstname.lastname@example.org. If the order is already shipped, the shipment should be rejected by the buyer.

The right to withdraw from the contract
The buyer has the right to notify the seller within 14 days of receiving the item that he is withdrawing from the contract without having to give a reason for his decision. The deadline begins to count one day after the date of receipt of the items.
In case of cancellation of the contract the buyer returns the item (returns it by post to the seller's address: Trgovina Mačica, Tavčarjeva 7, 4000 Kranj or personally bring it to the address above).
The buyer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in unchanged quantity, unless the item is destroyed, defective, lost or its quantity reduced without the buyer being at fault.
The buyer of the items must not freely use them until the contract is terminated. The only cost that is borne by the buyer in connection with the cancellation of the contract is the cost of returning the items (which, if shipped, will be charged according to the price list of the delivery service).
The item must be returned to the seller within 30 days of the sending of the notice of withdrawal (purchase). The Buyer shall not have the right to withdraw from the Contract in the case of contracts whose object is an item made according to the instructions of the buyer, which was adapted to his personal needs, which by its nature is not suitable for return.
The item has a manufacturer defect when:
the item does not have the characteristics necessary for its normal use or circulation,
the item does not have the characteristics necessary for the specific use for which the buyer is purchasing it, which was known or should be known to the seller,
the item does not have the features and attributes that were explicitly or tacitly agreed upon or prescribed,
the seller has delivered an item that does not match the pattern or model unless the pattern or model was shown for notice only.
Article 37 of ZVPot determines more precisely, when the mistake is factual.
How to check the suitability of an item??
It is checked with another, flawless article of the same type, at the same time as the manufacturer's statements or indications on the article itself.
How to report a factual mistake?
The buyer must notify us of any material defect, together with a precise description of it at his own expense, within the statutory time limit, and at the same time allow us to inspect the item.
Returned items with open packaging
Returned items are items that were returned to Timorej Lovrečič s.p. without any defects (damaged packaging, scratches and other damage to the product, etc.). If the buyer returns a damaged product, he/she is not entitled for the refund.
Catkin sends packages with Pošta Slovenije.
Packaging and shipping is 5,50€ worldwide, and 3,50€ in Slovena. Customers can pick up their package for free at our store (Mačica, Tavčarjeva 7, 4000 Kranj) from Monday to Friday (9am-1pm; 3pm-6pm) and on Saturday (9am-12pm).
Every package has a tracking number.
Catkin uses appropriate technological and organizational means to protect the transfer and storage of personal information and payments.
All personal data will be used only to send invoices, informations, and offers. Personal information will not be transmitted to third parties.
Limitation of Liability
Catkin does its best to ensure that the information published on the website is up-to-date and accurate.
The seller can withdraw from the contract if a manifest error is found (Article 46 of the OZ). A manifest defect is the defect in the essential features of the item and any errors that are considered decisive by custom in the shop or by the customer. This also includes obvious price mistakes.
Complaints and disputes
Timotej Lovrečič s.p. complies with applicable consumer protection legislation. Catkin is doing its best to fulfill its duty to provide an effective complaints system.
In case of problems, the buyer can contact Catkin by phone (04 620 02 46) or by email at email@example.com, or send a Private Message to Catkin's official FB and IG. Catkin is doing its best to resolve any disputes by mutual agreement.
